TweetThe Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly after hours networking, the ‘After 5 Club’ next week, Wednesday February 10. The After 5 Club is hosted by a different Chamber member each month for fellow members and their guests.
This month, the After 5 Club will be hosted by Parents As Teachers at the Chamber office, 220 Broadway from 5pm to 7pm. Parents As Teachers of Porter County is a universal access, early childhood family education program that provides free, one-on-one guidance and support to parents interested in shaping their birth to five year old children into healthy and functional children ready to enter school and eager to succeed in life. Their mission is to help families participating in their program through parent education, early literacy coaching and family support. They provide personal one-on-one monthly visits, parent/child workshops, parent only forums, developmental screenings and resource networking.
