TweetThe Mad About Mystery lovers book series continues with a look at the Golden Age of mystery fiction, which covered the two decades between the First and Second World Wars. The program, which is free of charge, will take place Wednesday, March 10 and will be repeated Saturday, March 13. Both sessions will begin at 2 p.m. Westchester Museum, an educational service of Westchester Public Library, is located at 700 W. Porter Ave., Chesterton, IN.
Joan Costello will talk about this distinctive period of mystery writing which includes such timeless authors Dorothy L. Sayers, Josephine Tey, Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh and others of the period.
A general discussion will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be served.
Mad About Mysteries will continue in April with a session entitled Agatha Christie’s England, which will be led by Judith Hurdle.
