March Music Festival

Chesterton Middle School

The Chesterton Middle School Music Department will present a March Music Festival on Thursday, March 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the CMS Auditorium and East Gym.

The festival will serve as a fundraiser to benefit the CMS Toys for Teens and Westchester Food Pantry. A $1 donation per person and non-perishable food item may be given at the door. All proceeds will go to charity. The festival will feature fine performances from the choirs, bands and orchestras. In addition, a silent auction will be incorporated featuring many gift baskets and an auction of CMS Band Director Tom Kennedy's baton will occur at both the 7th grade band and 8th grade band concerts. Mr. Kennedy will be retiring after this school year.

Between performances visitors can check out all of the baskets and then bid on them. This evening is a great opportunity for parents and members of the community to hear the middle school performing groups and support this community fundraiser.
