TweetThe exhibit celebrates a wide variety of textiles from the museum's collection, including 19th century coverlets and quilts and a variety of antique clothing and handwork.
Neil tries his hand at weaving on the loom in the new Kids' Corner at the museum. Kids' Corner is a special place for children who visit the museum - a place where they can try activities or do projects that relate to the history of our area and to the exhibits in the museum.

Two additional public programs have been planned for the exhibit at Westchester History Musuem. Larry Vallem will demonstrate traditional Scandinavian weaving on March 14 from 2- 4 p.m. and on April 1, Mary Persyn of the String-Along Quilters will meet with quilt owners to help date their quilts and identify quilt patterns.
