1000th Member at the Duneland Boys & Girls Club

The Duneland Boys & Girls Club recently welcomed its thousandth member to the Club. Pictured with Unit Director Joe Juarez is member number 1,000 Meah Waggoner. The Duneland Boys & Girls Club continues to grow at a fast pace and has nearly 130 Duneland area youth utilizing the Club on a daily basis. Book Sale Volunteers Needed

Do you love working with books? The Friends of Westchester Public Library need your help to sort books and set up their Spring Book Sale on Saturday, April 10, from 9:00 am until noon. Although many books are already sorted and boxed for the sale, the Friends still have hundreds of volumes to categorize and many boxes of books to move and to arrange on the sale tables. Chesterton Driver’s Education Enters a New Era

Beginning this summer, Chesterton High School will offer another option with their driver’s education classes: online coursework. Traditionally, the summer driver’s education program at Chesterton has consisted of a fourteen day classroom portion and eight day behind-the-wheel experience.
