Field Station Cooperative 5th Annual Golf Outing

The Field Station is holding its 5th Annual Golf Outing on September 25 at The Brassie Golf Course in Chesterton, IN. Registration begins at noon. Golf begins at 1:00 p.m. Dinner is at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $75 per golfer which includes golf, cart, dinner, 2 drink tickets, awards, contests and prizes. For non-golfers, dinner is $25 per person (includes 2 drink tickets). The Field Station is a nature-focused learning center located at the historic Lindstrom farm, part of the Swedish Heritage District in Northwest Indiana. Nestled within the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in Porter, the Field Station’s site is surrounded by trails, the Little Calumet River, wetlands and a prairie. It’s the perfect location for the Field Station, which is committed to teaching young children about the natural world around them. 

The Golf Outing, organized by parent volunteers, is one of the school's largest fundraisers. The proceeds from this event will be used for ongoing restoration and maintenance of our historic buildings and property and to provide additional educational resources for our students.

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is one of 391 units of the National Park System ranging from Yellowstone to the Statue of Liberty. Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore includes 15 miles of the southern shorelines of Lake Michigan and 15,000 acres of beach, woods, marshes and prairie in the northwest corner of Indiana.
